The Red Trail is the hardest trail available at Black Creek Park. It has a distance of 3.1 miles and contains hilly and rough terrain. The Red trail travels right above Black Creek which leads to some beautiful sights all year around. Traveling the Red trail while walking takes about and hour at normal walking pace. The Red trail leads across the park to the other entrance on Green Road. In addition to being the longest trail in Black Creek Park, horses cannot travel the full length of the trail due to the 2 bridges over the Cedar Bog. These bridges are relatively new and are anchored with steel rods and have a weather and slip resistant texture. The Red trail is the only trail that travels past all points of interest in the park other than the playground and pond.
